Dario Agrimi

​The biography
​​Dario Agrimi is an eclectic artist, he was born in Atri (TE) in 1980 and lives and works in Rome and Trani. 
Active in contemporary art since 2001, he teaches Painting Techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His work spans painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation and performance. His most recent experiments stem from a meticulous pursuit of artistic perfection. 

He stages a form of hyperrealism that heightens emotion and narrows the distance between reality and fiction. 
His works are held in collections in Italy and abroad. He has participated in numerous international art fairs, group and solo exhibitions at galleries and institutions around the world, including the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. 

In 2014, he collaborated with a prominent British multinational company on an advertising campaign that received worldwide exposure. He is the only artist to have exhibited his works at the Castel dei Mondi International Festival for three consecutive years. 

In recent months, he has been working on a new series of paintings intended for the United States art market.
